Thank God for generators
The 2019 Midway Fall Festival was a great success. The weather was bad, no lights in the community but the grillers had tents covering their grills and were doing a great job. The activities were moved from the Park to the Fellowship Hall at the church. Many indoor games were played, a lot of them were biblical, also bingo, biblical trivia, monopoly and other games.
There were so much food to feed the many people who were there. It was a turnout from both churches and the community.
Midway M. B. Church and Midway Freewill Baptist will share Thanksgiving Dinner on November 17 at 12:15 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
Thank God for generators. I invested in a whole house generator, that runs on butane. That proved over the weekend to be a very good investment. It really worked wonderful. When the lights go out it automatically clicks on and your lights are still working. Dents Air Conditioning in Jackson did a great job on recommendations and getting everything installed and up and working.
