Morton Public Library activities in March are: Thursday, March 12, Adult Craft Night at 5 p.m.; Thursday, March 19, Teens Disney Trivia at 5 p.m.; Thursday, March 26, K-6 Craft Night at 5 p.m. and Senior Coffee on each Friday in March at 10 a.m. The March 6 Coffee featured refreshments and making a craft. You are encouraged to enjoy this time of conversation and fellowship.
The “Quick Bites” programs through March from 12 noon-1:00 p.m. are: Thursday, March 12, Bug and Plant Camp with Dr. John Guyton, Assoc. Extension Professor Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Entomology ND Plant Pathology presenting the program; Thursday, March 26, Eat Right Bite by Bite: 20 Nutrition and Health Tips for 2020 presented by Juagula Madkin, Extension Instructor Food Science, Nutrition and Health Promotion. These sessions are viewed by interactive video and are free to the public, but you must be registered to attend. Those interested in attending must register by calling 601-469-4241.
The Spring Musical to be presented at East Central Community college is Cinderella. Tickets are $10 and may be reserved by calling Jeannine Vance at 601-635-2111. Presentation dates/times are: Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28 at 7 p. m.; Sunday, March 29 at 2 p.m.; Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, March 31 at 9 a.m. and 12 noon.
The Scott County MHV Cultural Arts Show at MSU Extension Service Scott County Office, 230 South Davis Street, Forest will be held on Tuesday, March 31. Open to all MHV members in the county, items to be judged must be in the office on Monday during office hours. Judging is Tuesday from 9-11 a.m. The show is open to the public from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Criteria/rules sheets for entries in art and crafts may be acquired at the Extension office address above.
Congratulations to: Skylar Miles, MHS sophomore softball team member on being chosen to participate in the MAC All Star Softball Games with the first game scheduled for 4 p.m. at Jones Junior College on May 29.

To: MHS junior, Shutezz Robinson, basketball team member, on being chosen to participate in the 1A/2A/3A North/South All Star Game. The game will be played at Mississippi College on March 21 at 4:30 p.m. Shutezz was chosen MVP of the Scott County Basketball Tournament.
