Travelin’, visitin’ and such: Chester and Shirley Sawyer were among the many auto racing fans who attended the race at Talladega, Alabama recently. From there they drove to Jamestown, Virginia where lodgings were at their condo in the region. They report enjoying the attractions including touring Historic Williamsburg and the opportunity to step back in time with the architecture and costuming of the actors there.
Sandra Measels reports having a wonderful experience with her story telling adventure in Natchez where six-hundred adults and children gathered to hear stories from various Storytellers. She told her version of Little Red riding Hood.
Brian Roland enjoyed a slightly early birthday outing with his parents while camping on campus at MSU. They attended the MSU womens basketball game on Friday evening. The celebration continued with special friends Derek Rogers his wife Mary Claire and son Denny where Brian, Melvin and Frisky joined them for his birthday meal at the 1883 Smokehouse restaurant in Starkville. He also enjoyed attending the MSU-Louisiana Tech football game and joining his family in the M-Club Venue at the Seals building.
