Announcements: Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church Fall revival begins August 4-8 2019. Speaker for the week Rev. Eric Jones.
Rev. Marcus McDougle will speak at MT. Olive M.B. Church on August 11, 2019 at 12:30 p.m.
Mt. Moriah M.B Church revival begins July 28, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. and continues Monday- Wednesday beginning each night at 7:15 p.m. Rev. Shawn Croft will be the guest speaker.
Pleasant Hill M.B. Church Annual Fall Revival will begin August 18, 2019. Rev. Tracy Glass will open the revival at 6:00 p.m. He also will speak on Monday and Tuesday night.
Rev. Jeff Stingley will be the guest speaker Wednesday-Thursday. Services begin each night at 7:00 p.m.
Vistin’: Mr. and Mrs. Richard Taylor and family from Milwaukee Wisconsin. Tosha Taylor from Jacksonville Florida were in town to visit their father and grandfather Homer and Maylois Matheny of Walnut Grove Ms. (relatives of Peggy Lewis)
Prayers For: There are many in our community and church family that desire prayer.
We request special prayer for Tiffany Townsend, Edna Lee, Tabitha Medders, Jerry Boyd, First Lady Bell of MT Olive M.B. Church and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Patrick.
Food For Thought: No matter who you are, you’re going to be faced with situations where you need to make a choice every day. For example, which job should I take; what college should I attend; should I buy this house; what church to attend; what should I cook today; This is just the tip of the iceberg of all the choices we make on a daily basis. Life is full of hard choices, and the bigger they are and the more options we have, the harder they get. No one is going to be successful in making the right choice all the time. That’s not how life works. Spiritual discernment involves making choices. Nothing is more important for us than making right choices. Why? Right choices become the steps on our journey to glory.
