“A friend of mine has two tickets to the Super Bowl, boxed seats. He paid $11,500 each. They come with a ride from the airport, lunch, dinner and $400 bartab. Also, a backstage pass to the winners’ locker room. He didn’t realize, last year when he bought them, it was going to be on the same day as his wedding. If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place. It’s at St. Paul’s Church in Orlando at 3:00 p.m. Her name is Ashley. She’s 5’4’’ about 115 pounds and a good cook too. She loves to fish and hunt. She’ll be the one in the white dress!”
A Methodist Church in Minnesota is closing to regroup and get some repairs done. Because of low attendance, mostly older age 60 members, they have asked those seniors to find them another church. Their young pastor wants to attract younger people and couples. He feels those people are getting in the way of reaching this goal.
There are four reasons every church needs Senior Saints; They need their prayers, practical wisdom, encouragement and their presence. Years ago Bro. Sonny Atkins told me, “Young preachers who didn’t pay attention to seniors in their church were “young and dumb.” Sounds like he was certainly right!

Franklin Graham, son of the late Billy Graham made the following statements yesterday at 6:33 p.m. “What an incredible crowd in Washington, D.C. for the March for Life! Tens of Thousands of people — all there to stand for life. Protestants, Anglicans, Orthodox, Catholics, everyone! This is such an important issue for our Nation! Since Roe vs Wade in 1973, over 61 million babies have been killed by Abortion in our nation. That is shameful. I pray that the American people and our Politicians will wake up to what abortion really is and put an end to it. 61,000,000 babies total!”
I would love to see people get as passionate about stopping abortion as they are about animals in shelters!
“An Assistant to Nancy Pelosi told her that she had a fantastic dream last night. There was a humongous parade in Washington D.C. celebrating Pelosi. Millions lined the parade route, cheering when Nancy passed. Bands were playing, children were throwing confetti into the air; there were balloons everywhere. It was the biggest celebration that Washington had ever seen!” Nancy was very impressed and said, “By the way, how did I look in your dreams, was my hair okay?” Her Assistant said, “I couldn’t tell, the casket was closed!” (I’m still laughing!)
It has been reported that Nancy Pelosi said, “If impeachment fails she will resign.” (Our Father, Who art in Heaven!)
CNN Saved My Life! “I spent six weeks in a coma after a terrible accident! A visitor came to my hospital room and turned to CNN and left. I had to get up to change the channel!”
Summer said, “The wall would be expensive and ineffective.” I say Congress is expensive and ineffective!
Trial: Haven’t you figured out yet? It’s not about Trump’s “corruption.” It’s about making sure you don’t find out about their corruption.

Nattie Faulk, infant daughter of Becky and Robbie Faulk was a contestant in the Diaper Derby at the basketball game Sunday afternoon, between Mississippi State and Ole Miss. Her Nannie, Janet Culpepper, tried coaxing her to crawl fast. She wasn’t going for that, she wanted to walk! Her Dad was doing the video and Mom, Becky, was trying to get her to come to her. PePaw Harry Culpepper was watching from sidelines. Living near MSU campus with Becky working on campus and Robbie working Sports reporting, this is just beginning of her MSU life.
I talked with my cousin Evelyn Emmons Waltman this past week. She told me she was having a birthday on the 31st. She will be 98. I hope she will have a God blessed birthday with family. She said she was so blessed to still have all of her children living and close by. I can say, they are very attentive to her.
Joke for week: A widower and a widow attend their 70th class reunion and a long-age spark rekindled. At the end of the night, he asks, “Will you marry me?” “Yes, yes, I will” she says enthusiastically. The next morning the widower wakes up troubled. Did she say yes or no? Confused, he calls her and asks, “Did you say yes or no to marrying me? “I said yes! And I’m glad you called, because I couldn’t remember who asked me.”
Old age is when it takes you longer to get over a good time than to have it! Every time an old person dies, it’s like a library burning down.
In order for a Pastor to fulfill the Lord’s command to feed God’s flock, the sheep must show up during feeding times! Have a God blessed week!
