Could spring be just around the corner?
The groundhog didn’t see his shadow! It turns out that just flipping a coin might be as accurate as ‘Phil’ coming out of its burrow. Since 1988 the ground hog has been right (14) times and wrong (17) times. An early American reference to Ground Hog Day can be found in a diary entry by store keeper, James Morris, dated February 4, 1841, in Berkshire County, Penn. This year he didn’t see his shadow. You know what this means — nothing, because the weather in the South has no rules!!

I heard the other day that the Democrats have a reason to believe that President Trump cut the tag off his mattress in 1987.

The following is just a part of a post about President, Donald J. Trump. It is the view that a mother has about our president — and much like those of other people. Her characterization of him as a “salty sailor” or as a “firefighter,” paints an excellent picture! She has written a book about her son and family. “Sometimes God uses a no nonsense, salty sailor, to get a job done! Appreciating what this man is doing, does not mean we worship him or a desire to be like him. It does not mean that God admires the salty sailor. Maybe, He knows he is necessary for such a time as this. I believe, with all my heart, that God placed this salty sailor in the White House to give this nation one more chance to change in November! Donald J. Trump is what he is!”

A recent post showed a young person’s wishes for the future. “I want a free education, free health care, free housing and free food. The answer was, have you considered going to prison?” My answer to them would be, you are tired, you are broke — welcome to adulthood! Get a job and get over it!
“This is what those 70 to 80 years plus might look forward to. This happened in a senior assisted living center. One of the resident’s didn’t show up for breakfast. So, my wife went upstairs to check on him. She knocked at his door, asked him if something was wrong. He said he was having a little trouble and would be down soon. But, after waiting a while, she went back up and found him on the stairs. He was gripping the handrail and it seemed he was having some trouble getting his legs to work.
“She told him she was going to call an ambulance, but he said No! He wasn’t in any pain. She helped him down the stairs and he had breakfast. When he tried to return to his room, he was completely unable to get to the first step. So she called an ambulance for him. A couple of hours she called the hospital to see how he was doing. The Receptionist there said he was fine, he just had both of his legs in one side of his boxer shorts!” I’m sending this to my children so they won’t sell the house before they know the facts!
