Super Bowl Tid Bits
I am not a football fan,but after hearing one of the Eagle’s players interview before the game, I watched the whole game. I put the “knee” incidents out of my mind for the night. Quarterback, Nick Foles, was holding his infant baby girl, wife was by his side when he said he was trusting in his Lord Jesus Christ to carry him through the game.
I googled his name and found that he is studying to become a Minister and almost gave up the game. He wants to become a Christian Minister to school age kids. What a “different” player he is! I was so proud of their Coach, Doug Peterson, when he said “This win was from my Lord and Jesus Christ and my players”.
I saw on Facebook that Debbie Dearing Leal (Barbara and Luther Dearing’s daughter, husband Victor is a candidate for State Senator in Texas. The thing that caught my attention is he pledges “if he is elected he will donate his entire salary to Education scholarships for great students who are in need of financial assistance.”
The Dearings were my friends and neighbors for many years and I have known Victor and their two sons for many years too. Barbara Dearing is now living in Weatherford, Texas close to her son, Dean, and his family.
This past week the airlines had to make another decision to not allow a “Service” peacock on a flight. Can you imagine anyone thinking this would be allowed? Beside their ear piercing screams, they have a wing spread of some eight feet, not to mention sharp claws! These people must be looking for their few minutes of “fame” being in the national limelight.
“Exposing the Lies — A pill that “cures” Heptatitis “C” (a regimen of Sovaldi, is $4.00 a pill in India and $1,000 a pill in America! This is another example when ‘Big Pharma’ has bought out our Politicians!”

Sincere sympathy to the family of Dot Phillips Sanders in their loss of loved one. (former Sunbeam employee)
I saw where this person said, “A robber broke into my house last night — he started searching for money, I woke up and searched with him.”
Life is what we make of it. No matter our circumstances, we can find someone who is having a more difficult time than we are having. Don’t let life get you down, put good thoughts ahead of depressive thoughts!
“Trust in the Lord. Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. Let your request be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Phillipians 4: 6-7)
Have a blessed week and share it!
