Good Neighbor Day is October 28th
This day gives each of us a reason to drop by our neighbor’s door just to say hello! Most of my life and until just about 20 years ago, we knew everybody in our community. We all have busy lives, but join me in making this day special! A little “happy,” such as cookies,breaks the ice when we stand outside their door!
EBC NEWS: It’s time for worker’s of Judgement House 2018 to sign up; “Home Sweet Home” Zachary and Danielle Gardner have moved into their new home. They will have “Open House” on October 21st. Congratulations to this sweet couple!

A Big Praise for infant Jo Jo O’Donnell! His due date to be born was in August, but he came in June! He has now gone home weighing over five lbs. Our God is a mighty God!
Technology. How much is too much? Do you remember when you saw the first original iPhone? Little did we know that the world was about to change forever. We can get an answer to almost any question we might have, check Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to what friends are doing and the list goes on and on.
Whether we are using an iPhone, Apple Laptop or navigation system in our car, these advances, along with many more, have made life more convenient. All the modern devices, however, can create damage to the family. Many researchers have found that even when families sit down for a meal together, lots of mothers spend this time checking their phone.
I read that some families have a basket that all electronics must be put in before sitting down for a meal. This sounds like a good idea! Parents, your children will be grown and gone and you will have missed out on the most important time of their lives!

“Never argue with a child” — A little girl was talking about whales. Her teacher said, “it is physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because it’s throat is very small.” The little girl said, “Jonah was swallowed by a whale.” Irritated the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human! The little girl said “When I get to Heaven, I will ask Jonah.” The teacher ask her “What if Jonah is in Hell?” The little girl said, “Then you ask him!”
