Forest Library News
Thanksgiving is a day we pause to give thanks for the things we have. Veterans Day is the day we pause to give thanks to the people who fought for our country! Ephesus Cemetery was beautiful on Veterans Day with so many flags flying. Our thanks to the two men that were putting them up in the cool wind and rain on Friday!
“Isn’t it weird that in America, our flag and our culture offends so many people, but our benefits don’t?”
One of the best comments I saw, on line, was for someone on Yahoo News comment section who said that “Trump reminds him of a doctor with no bedside manner. He tells you that you need to lose 100 lbs. and stop smoking. You’re offended, you’re angry, you can come up with 10 reasons why he is crazy! Then you finally realize that he is the only one telling you the truth.”

“Eight things to remember when you are going through rough times — Everything can and will change; You’ve overcome challenges before; It’s a learning experience; Not getting what you want can be a blessing; Allow yourself to have some fun; Being kind to yourself is the best medicine; Other people’s negativity isn’t worth worrying about; And there is always, always something to be thankful for!” (Southern style)
“A fool has said ‘there is no God’ Ps 14:1. — God doesn’t send anyone to hell, He just honors their choice!”
I woke up early this morning and I saw a brand new day dawning. When I opened my eyes, I said, Lord I thank You for keeping me alive!
Have a blessed week and share it!
