Super Bowl Sunday
This was the second Super Bowl I have ever watched! I didn’t know anything about either team. I have heard so much about Tom Brady in the last few days that I just had to be pulling for his team. Tom has proven to be a outstanding player and all around good family guy that he just scored high with me.
Since I was raised on a farm and my husband and I farmed for years, this article caught my attention: “The Super Bowl Without Agriculture. No tickets —Printed on paper made from trees, often uses soy ink made from soybeans and some paper made from cornstarch. No Hot Dogs — Pork, beef and buns made possible with Agriculture. No Popcorn — one of several types grown by farmers. No Peanuts — Grown by Agriculture. No Beer — Crops like barley, wheat, rye grown by farmers. No Turf Grass — Many stadiums use natural grass grown on turf farms. No Footballs — Covered in cowhide not pigskin.” Thanks to our farmers the Super Bowl happened!
Farming. The art of losing money while working 400 hours a month to feed people who think you are trying to kill them. (Farmer’s do it better)
Joke of the week: two blondes were driving to Disneyland — the sign said : Disneyland Left — so, they started crying and headed for home! (I can make pokes at blonde's since I was one in my younger years)
“"Don’t get all weird about getting older. Our age is merely the number of years the world has been enjoying us.”
An interesting article about Frontier Airlines was on the news this week. “Frontier Airlines has changed its rule about tipping flight attendants. They now allow it!” Just think, a 10 percent tip would have given you chance to fly on a better airline!
“My doctor asked me if any members of my family suffered from insanity? I said, nope we all seem to enjoy it!”

Trump bashes 4.2 Billion Dollars tax credits given to “Illegal Immigrants who are not authorized to work in USA! They are not supposed to get the Earned Income Tax Credit. But, they can receive the additional dependent child credit. It goes like this — get a SS number, then claim tax credit on dependent children for the last three years. Then wait for IRS to send them (3) years of tax refunds. It can work if you have never paid in any taxes.”
President Trump signed a bill on 1/18/19 that will lower prices on prescription drugs! Thank You, President Trump!!
“God made man from the dust of the earth, but woman He made from man’s rib. . . So man is but dirt and woman . . . Is prime rib?”
“Husbands are the best people to share secrets with, they’ll never tell anyone — because they aren’t listening!”
Jesus wept is the shortest verse in the Bible. I can only imagine how He is feeling about everything that is going on the world today that is breaking his heart. Folks, we need to pray, pray, pray for our loved ones, our neighbors and for our Government like never before! God tells us “you have not because you ask not.”
“I’d rather stand with God and be condemned by the world than to stand with the world and be condemned by God.” (Denzel Washington)
The greatest lesson I have learned is — that I still have lots to learn!
Have a God blessed week and share it with others!
