Missed the storms
In my community, we were really blessed that predictions for weekend weather didn’t happen! We gripe about the up and down temperatures and several days of rain, but have to remember that we are in Mississippi.
Harry and Janet Culpepper’s daughter, Jessica Adelt, and family live in Sisters, Oregon. Recently her husband, George carried a Team of Skiers to a Meet. They were caught in an avalanche and had to stay in his bus over eight hours in the cold darkness. Thankfully, the fuel tanks were full so he could run the motor all that time to give them heat. They got to a neighboring town to wait out the roads getting cleared before returning back home. Do we have it bad? Indeed not!
Mother Nature apologizes for the late arrival of Spring! Father Time was driving and refused to stop and ask for directions!
It would be wonderful if the opposition to President Trump would take lessons from one USAF Retired Brian Kolfage. He has raised $20 Million toward building the wall between the U.S. And Mexico. He is a severely wounded airman who survived wartime who stated “As a veteran who has given so much —three limbs — I feel deeply invested in this nation to ensure future generations have everything we have today. Too many Americans have been murdered by illegal aliens. Too many illegal aliens are taking advantage of U.S. Taxpayers with no means of ever contributing to our society.”
Kolfage called out to American citizens through a Go-Fund-Me Website (gofundmeaccounts.com-/TheTrumpWall) where individuals can contribute. He said, “If the 63 million people who voted for Trump each pledged $80, we can build the wall.” That would be the $5 Billion President Trump asked for in January.
