It is not too late to make plans to participate in the Great American Cleanup that will be held this weekend. It’s not to late to volunteer or to donate. Patrick Drive, Oliver Drive, Old Jackson Rd., Wash Drive, Water Tank Rd., King Rd, Hawkins Rd., Burks Circle, Boss Hogg Rd. Beulah Rd., Futch Rd, and Burkes Rd. are the streets that will be focused on during the cleanup. I am calling on all residents to participate, you can participate just by cleaning up any debris along your property. Some of these streets don’t need a lot of work but some do. I encourage you to help another street if your street doesn’t need much work. We would like to foster the idea of community and helping out our neighbor. This event is a great way for us to come together as a community and show that we care about our neighborhood. If you would like to volunteer, participate or donate in any manner, please contact me Brenda Bobbitt at 601-507-9567. Please contact me for supplies if you plan to pick up trash. I will have trash bags, water, snacks, and gloves for all participants. Don’t forget that we will serve lunch on Monday, March 11 at noon at Union Grove UMC.
Union Grove UMC will also host Bible Bingo on March 30 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
