The Kitchen Committee and helpers sent out breakfast and lunch plates last Sunday. The Breakfast Plates had grits or oatmeal, sausage patty, boiled egg, and toast. The lunch plates had a large cup of chili with sour cream and shredded cheese, a baked sweet potato with butter, and a pack of club crackers. The Kitchen Committee consisted of Delie Shepard, Annie Stowers, and Alice McCarter. The Great Helpers (I do mean Great Helpers) were Oudie McClendon, Hope Townsend, Wayne Williams and Denise Stowers. The deliverers of the meals were Oudie McClendon and Jerome “Skeet” Stowers. Thanks so much for the Helpers, deliverers and Kitchen Committee for all that you do. The Program is successful because of the work and giving of others to make it a success.
