It was an exciting time for Morton native, Hudson Bynum to be a member of the Mississippi State Cheerleader Squad at the first home game of the season. Thanks, Hudson, for the support of the squad in bringing the fans along for the victory against Arizona State (then ranked 12th in the nation).
Correction: It was Chris French’s daughter Linda instead of her granddaughter Jennifer who was among those enjoying the Birthday/Friends outing at the Halfshell Restaurant in Madison recently.
Sittin’ and thinkin’: This sweet tribute poem was shared at the Ice Cream social at First Baptist of Morton. “A Grandparent’s Love”...Grandparents are special, in all that they do, they teach of Jesus, His love pure and true, They share their stories, their wisdom, their care, a gift from the Lord, a blessing so rare, They pray for us daily, they cheer when we grow, They guide us with kindness, much more than we know. Even if family, or church family too, we thank God above for giving us you. With hugs and with smiles we just want to say, We love you dear grandparents. HAPPY GRANDPARENTS DAY!
