Some local citizens seeking good entertainment were spotted at the Newton Theatre Company’s production at the Roxy Theater to enjoy the School Edition of the musical ”We Will RockYou.”
During a girls evening out, Florence Measells, Frisky Roland, Pam Warren and Kathy Warren dined at Garvin’s Restaurant prior to attending the event. Of interest to the group was the performance of Tristin Jones, the son of MHS Graduate Micky Jones, mom Nina and aunt Renea’ Thompson. He was outstanding along with the wonderful cast of young actors. He appeared as Madonna and one of the Super Yuppies. Needless to say the energy and talent of the cast was received by the audience with loud applause and sing-along support.
