Business was brisk on New Year’s Eve at Forest’s first, and only to date, package liquor store, Spirit World. Two more liquor stores applied for permits in late 2025, one planning to locate in the old River Rat location on Hwy. 35 just north of the Hwy. 80 intersection, and another in the former AMT Wholesale on Hwy.
