One of my most favorite people ever died Sunday and I’m truly going to miss her. Mrs. Martha Reed had been bringing me vegetables, fresh from her garden, probably since the day I first stepped foot in this office in January of 2009.

Sebastopol store closing

The Family Dollar Store in Sebastopol is one of approximately 1,000 of the chains stores that are closing this year as their leases expire. The closing is part of a restructuring plan that began in 2024, following the acquisition of Family Dollar by Dollar Tree in 2015.

What a Shame

Give a kid a can of paint and let them make a fool out of his or her self. It is a shame that the old lookout tower at Roosevelt State Park in Morton has come to look like this.
