The Scott County election officials and the Circuit Clerk's office are working to complete the final Scott County tallies and certify the results of the November 5, general election. County officials released the unofficial results today and inlcude all ballots cast electronically via voting machine.

Graveside services were held Monday, May 18th for the late Rev. Richard Taylor. Our prayers continue to be with his family, son Rashard, mother Mrs. Ethel Taylor, and sister Ms. Renae McBride. Arrangements were handled by Holifield Funeral Home.

Former Scott Central student gives back to school

Scott Central Kindergarten classes celebrated Dental Health Month with a visit from a former student, Bailey Easterling Batte. She is currently a senior at the University of Southern Mississippi and will graduate in May with a degree in Molecular Biology.
