Mississippi state Attorney General Lynn Fitch is joining a lawsuit by the state of Texas that seeks to overturn the results of the presidential election in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin.
All four were won by former Vice President Joe Biden.

Public notice regarding the first legal liquor store was filed last week

Just about as soon as the final votes were tallied, the legal notification for the first proposed liquor store in Forest was filed with this newspaper. Forest Spirit World LLC, owned by Douglas Adcox and Jason Grayson, if their application is approved, will be located at 112 Hill Street, at the corner of Hill and Main.
