Holy Week
Good Morning/Evening!
“And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by his feet, and worshipped him.”
This is Holy Week, Resurrection Week!
We have made it to Wednesday, the day the disciple named Judas Iscariot decided to betray Jesus. (Mark 14:10-11) Now comes Maundy/Mourning Thursday — Jesus had the Last Supper with the disciples, He washes their feet. (Matthew 26:26-28) Good Friday — Jesus is crucified on a cross, after suffering humiliation and beatings for our sins, and carrying them on that cross to Calvary. Darkness covered the earth (Luke 23:44-46) Holy Saturday — Jesus rested in a borrowed tomb. (Luke 23: 55-56) Now comes RESURRECTION SUNDAY — JESUS IS RISEN! DEATH IS FOREVER DEFEATED!! His death, burial and Resurrection paid for our sins and gives all who choose to believe in Him eternal life. (Mark 16:5-6)

My prayer today is that we all show more love and concern for each other. It’s not enough to say you are a believer and never show any signs of God’s character.
