On Sept. 18, members of the 1970 Forest High School Football Team will walk onto L. O. Atkins Field for the first time since ending their perfect season 50 years ago - and they’ll do so together just like they did back then.

The 1970 Forest High School Bearcat Football Team were named North Little Dixie Conference Champions when they defeated Morton 10-7 and Overall Little Dixie Conference Champions defeating Monticello 22-10 and finished the season 11-0! The team, as well as band members and cheerleaders, are set to be honored during the September 18 Forest High School football game as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of that historic year, unless circumstances change due to the COVID-19 virus.
